The British Chamber of Commerce celebrates its 70th anniversary this year.
To honour our heritage and history, we look back at our leaders and members who have worked with the Chamber, and curated our best moments in this digital museum.
We invite you on this journey as we unravel our 70 years of supporting business, trade and community - From where it all began in 1954 when our first President Phillip Mawrey set up the United Kingdom Manufacturers’ Representatives’ Association to represent the interests of British industry in Singapore, to the present-day British Chamber of Commerce Singapore, our purpose has grown together with our voice, our network and our impact.
The British Chamber of Commerce Singapore looks forward to continuing our close partnership to strengthen business and trade in the next 70 years and beyond as we champion the future of trade, support the development of talent and skills through our future of work theme, encourage a rich diversity of people in the work place and across our network, promote the best of UK education and lifelong learning, and champion sustainability in business.
Thank you to all of our members, partners and colleagues at both the Singapore and UK governments, for their contributions and support for the Chamber throughout the years.
